Automatic Chicken Drinker

The Dine a Chook Chicken Drinker features a Lubing Cup and float. The Cup automatically refills as a chicken drinks. All you have to do is refill the water reservoir as required and give the Lubing Cups a quick rinse whenever you are refilling the Drinker.

An upgraded Dine a Chook float is provided with each Lubing Cup. While the original Lubing Cup floats work perfectly well, most chicken keepers prefer the higher water levels provided in the Drinker Cup by the Dine a Chook float. For this reason, we recommend replacing the original float with the Dine a Chook float upgrade when you install your new Drinker.

No leaks, drips or spills

Damp litter in the chicken coop can cause respiratory diseases and also spreads other illnesses and parasites within your flock. Coccidiosis and many other chicken diseases thrive in damp environments, so keeping the coop dry is one of the most important things that you can do to keep your flock healthy.

If installed correctly, a Dine a Chook Drinker is impossible to knock over. Plus, the design is leak- and drip-free. Even the Lubing Drinker Cups are engineered for minimal splashes and spillages.

A Dine a Chook Lubing Cup Drinker will keep the coop drier, helping you save time and money spent replacing wet litter under the Drinker. 

Clean water for healthy hens

Healthy hens need clean water. But given the opportunity, chickens will happily poop in their water or stand in it with dirty feet, spreading parasites and disease as they contaminate the water. 

With a Dine a Chook Drinker, chickens cannot step or poop in the water. In fact, the water reservoir is completely protected from contaminants, while the Drinker Cups can only be touched by the chicken's beak if the Drinker is installed at the recommended height. 

Cleaner drinking water means healthier chickens. And healthier chickens mean more eggs and less hassle for you.

As the industry preference for poultry hydration, German Lubing Drinker Cups are also built to last and will provide many years of reliable service with proper care.

Easy to install

Dine a Chook Drinkers are a breeze to install. All you need to do is determine the correct mounting height and use a drill to install the brackets provided in the Complimentary Mounting Kit. Your Drinker can then be filled and hung from the brackets using the molded rear mounting hooks.

Install your Dine a Chook Drinker so that the Drinker Cups are at eye level for your smallest hen. Drinkers can be mounted higher, which helps keep the Lubing Cups clean, if a step such as a brick is provided. Always monitor your birds after installation to ensure they are all able to access the drinking water comfortably. 

For installation on wire mesh or cage wire, Wire Mesh Mounting Hardware can be purchased separately. It is not recommended that Drinkers are installed directly onto cage wire using only the rear mounting hooks. Please use the steel brackets provided with your Drinker for all installations.
